Public Meditations

 

Meditation Intensive - 1st Saturday of each month*

Please join us on the first Saturday of each month for silent group meditation to deepen your practice. No prior experience necessary. You can join us for the whole day or part of the day.
 
Schedule:
10:00 AM - 12:30 PM    Morning session (5 rounds of meditation)
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM      Lunch break
1:30 PM - 4:00 PM        Afternoon session (5 rounds of meditation)
 
Each round of meditation includes 25 minutes sitting meditation and 5 minutes of walking meditation (preceded by a minute of stretching). Participants may arrive or leave during the walking meditations, which are scheduled to begin on the top of each hour and on the half hour.
 
You are welcome to do your own silent meditation or follow these instructions for meditation on the breath.
