The Regular practitioners group will have two sections during the 2011-2012 year:

Todd's Group - Wednesday evenings at Tamarack Wellness Center.

We will be taking up a deepening investigation of intrinsic compassion -- our own fundamental essence -- facilitated through practices of clarity and kindness and through select readings of mystics of various traditions (Buddhist, Sufi and Christian). Through the eyes of compassion, all nuances of dualistic grasping are effortlessly transformed and re-cognized nakedly; seen not as error, but as enlightened nature itself. We come to see that our own ignorance is not something to eschew, but rather to embrace fully within the timeless presence of its arising.

Matt's Group - Monday evenings at the Green Phoenix Institute.

Through various practices, we will develop personal experience of subtle energy with the ultimate goal of releasing the heart's restrictions that bind the central channel. By releasing physical-emotional energetic restrictions, our attention becomes stabilized and less subject to the wanderings prompted by emotional habit-patterns. With stable attention that is aware of the body's subtle energy (which is none other than consciousness as experienced in a body-mind), the awareness-energy can be guided into the central channel. When awareness-energy stabilizes in the central channel, the experience of formless, endless clear light manifests.
